For the little ones, only one thing matters: the board must be light enough for your child to carry it themselves. Our 6.5” micro-skateboards are short, maneuverable, and feature soft wheels that absorb small bumps instead of slowing them down. Not a discount store toy, but a real skateboard — just in the right size.

Yes — with two conditions. First: always under supervision. Second: full protective gear, including a helmet, knee, elbow, and wrist pads. At this age, it’s about playful exploration, not tricks. Most children start by pushing and balancing, and a micro-board is built precisely for that.

  • Deck Width: 6.5 inches
  • Deck Length: 26 inches
  • Wheelbase: approx. 26–28 cm
  • Body Height: up to approx. 100 cm

It’s lightweight. If your child can’t carry the board to the playground themselves, it’s too heavy. This may sound trivial, but it determines whether the board will be used or left in a corner.

The wheels are soft. Hard wheels are made for smooth concrete. On the sidewalk in front of your house, they’ll brake at every joint. Soft wheels roll right over them.

The trucks are adjustable. Our boards are pre-tensioned for beginners from the factory — they steer less nervously. When your child becomes more confident, you can loosen them with a wrench.

Attention: At this age, nothing works without supervision and protective gear. A helmet, knee, elbow, and wrist pads are essential from the very first ride. And: stay away from cheap boards from toy stores — they are usually too heavy and poorly made.

At what age can a child skateboard?

From about three years old, with supervision and protective gear. Some children are ready at four, others as early as two and a half — the deciding factor is whether your child can stand securely and maintain balance.

Complete board or individual parts?

Always a complete board for beginners. It comes pre-assembled, the parts are coordinated, and you don’t have to put anything together.

What if my child grows quickly?

A 6.5-inch board lasts about two years. After that, you switch to 7.0 inches — that’s our category for 5 to 8 years.

From about 100 cm body height, 7.0 inches fits better — more standing surface for the first tricks, without sacrificing control.
